Design idea and origin
The Jimbox was developed by graduate designer Sören Jungclaus, inspired by the image of a gymnasium that can be transformed from a handball court into a stage or a movement course in just a few simple steps. The Jimbox transfers this versatility to everyday educational use: it is flexible, robust and durable - made for places where children play, learn and discover.
Practically well thought-out - interior & lid variants Inside the Jimbox, fixed compartments ensure organisation and a clear overview. The large boxes are divided into four sections, the small ones into two equally sized sections - perfect for toys, books or sports equipment. This keeps everything in its place and, thanks to the deliberately small compartments, there is no risk of children hiding in them.
The lids rest securely and are available in three versions: made of plywood, with a Forbo linoleum coating or as an upholstered seat with a removable wool cover. The Jimbox can therefore be used as a table, a shelf or a comfortable seat - functional, versatile and suitable for children.
