Shipping conditions
The following information only applies to private and commercial end users. Other conditions apply to resellers or dealers.
We are delighted if you decide to order furniture and furnishings in our online shop. Our primary concern is to get your ordered products to you quickly and safely.
Depending on size or weight, items are shipped by parcel service or with one of our shipping partners. In addition to our standard shipping, we also offer a paid premium service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Below you will find an overview of the essential information regarding shipping. The shipping costs can be found at the very bottom of this page.
Standard shipping
Depending on size or weight, items are shipped by parcel service or with one of our shipping partners.
Delivery by forwarding agent is as standard "free kerbside", i.e. the delivery is handed over to you by the forwarding agent in front of the house. You are then responsible for carrying the packages into the house / flat.
Premium service
If you have booked the paid premium service, delivery is "free to the point of use", i.e. the carrier delivers all packages to the place where the items are to be placed. With the premium service, the item is unpacked and expertly assembled by the installation partner. The packaging material is removed and disposed of by the installation partner.
Free access to the point of use via a staircase or lift must be guaranteed. The costs for the premium service can be found in the "Shipping costs" section at the very bottom of this page.
Delivery time
In the order confirmation we will inform you of the time when the goods will be handed over to the shipping service provider. Unless another period is specified, the goods will be dispatched within up to 3 weeks after conclusion of the contract. In the case of advance payment, dispatch will take place at the earliest after receipt of payment.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will - unless otherwise agreed - send the items together in one shipment. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time.
Delivery date / notification
As soon as the forwarding agent has taken over the goods from us, you will be informed by e-mail of a delivery date. As a rule, you can also arrange an alternative date by e-mail at this time. If you are not present at the first delivery attempt by the forwarding agent despite the agreed and confirmed delivery date, additional costs will be incurred. Please understand that we have to charge you for the costs of further delivery attempts.
Transit time / delivery time
For parcel service shipping, the standard transit time within Germany (mainland) is 2-5 working days. For shipping by forwarding agent, the standard transit time within Germany is 3-7 working days. Delivery to the German islands usually takes a little longer. Delivery is made by both parcel service and forwarding agent from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, we have no direct influence on the exact transport time and delivery date, as we commission external service providers with the delivery.
Visual inspection of delivery
When you receive your delivery, please check the packaging for any transport damage before signing and have this (if present) documented in writing and photographically. Drop-off authorisation / storage location: If you give the shipping service provider a drop-off authorisation, the risk of accidental destruction / loss of the purchased item passes to you. We recommend that you accept your consignments in person and do not give drop-off authorisation.
Packing station
Unfortunately, delivery to a packing station is not possible.
VAT refund
Import customs clearance, import tax and duties are borne by Müller Möbelwerkstätten GmbH. Our goods are dispatched to you duty paid and taxed. We ask for your understanding that we therefore do not offer VAT refunds. Other conditions apply for resellers / dealers.
Click & Collect?
If you have chosen the Click & Collect option when placing your order, we will inform you by e-mail as soon as the goods are ready for you to collect at our warehouse at Müller Möbelwerkstätten GmbH, Klinkerhof 7a, 26345 Bockhorn. You can collect the goods from Monday to Thursday between 7 am and 3 pm or on Friday from 7 am to 12 noon.

Note on special delivery addresses
Our stated shipping costs apply to deliveries to the mainland and for regularly accessible delivery addresses. For delivery addresses that can only be reached by sea (e.g. islands) or are located in hard-to-reach areas (e.g. mountain regions, alpine huts or similar locations), additional shipping costs may apply. In such cases, please inform us accordingly when placing your order. Any additional costs incurred will be checked individually and we will then decide whether and to what extent we will pass them on. Of course, we will inform you in advance.
