Children's room furniture that grows with your child

Children's room furniture should be able to adapt flexibly and grow with the child. For example, height-adjustable furniture and modular systems that can be extended as required are ideal.

Why furniture from Müller Small Living for the children's room?

Good design

Children's rooms are usually rather small, but they should offer plenty of space for playing, sleeping and learning. To achieve this balancing act, we work together with young designers to develop well thought-out furniture with surprising functions that are versatile and practical in design and save a lot of space at the same time! Some of our furniture is stackable or modular, for example, so that it can be reorganised and used in different ways as the mood takes you. Or they offer special functions such as secret compartments or special lighting effects. The result? Many of our designs have been recognised for their high-quality product design and have won awards such as the "Red Dot Design Award" or "Die Gute Form".

Material and surface

We manufacture over 95% of our children's furniture in Germany. We attach great importance to solid workmanship and durable material quality. For example, we regularly use durable and resistant birch plywood so that our furniture can face the many challenges of furniture life with children in a relaxed manner. The outer CPL coating also creates a scratch and impact-resistant finish that is also aesthetically pleasing. Our lacquered surfaces are also extremely hard-wearing. The matt clear lacquer gives them long-lasting protection.

Why white?

We use the colour white for a lot of our furniture. This is because we use white surfaces to create a calm counterpoint to toys or other colourful furnishings, especially in children's rooms. What's more, white furniture blends in perfectly with other furniture and floor coverings so that it can still be used in a teenager's room if possible.

Sustainably manufactured in Friesland

We have been manufacturing durable, high-quality furniture in our furniture factory in Friesland for 150 years. We attach great importance to sustainability: in order to produce as resource-efficiently as possible, we only use FSC-certified wood from FSC-certified suppliers, which are sourced from the region wherever possible. Alternatively, we use birch veneer plywood, produced from fast-growing stocks in Finland. In addition, most of our products are in the collection for a very long time, so that you can buy more furniture even years later.
