Leonhard Pfeifer
Leonhard Pfeifer, born in New Zealand, studied Industrial Design in Australia and worked in a variety of industries before setting up his design studio in East London. Since 2003 he has worked on developing furniture collections and one-off pieces for design-led retailers and contract markets across Europe and internationally.
With extensive experience in various design industries, including consultancy, research and development and manufacturing, Pfeifer has a broad range of expertise and a pragmatic approach to furniture design.
Heavily influenced by the ideas of modernism and the exploration of furniture combined with innovative experimentation in manufacturing, materials and structure, Pfeifer's work follows a pure and geometric form to create minimal compositions with fine details that are intrinsic to the work. Pfeifer brings an inquisitive mind and a novel perception, his work is internationally recognized.
